WNU, I googled this guy and found some interesting things about him. From Wikipedia:

"On September 30, 1961, while serving at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, Jackson fatally shot Rubén López Sabariego, a Cuban worker at Guantanamo and suspected communist spy, in self-defense after Sabariego allegedly made a failed attempt to steal Jackson's weapon. Sabariego's body was later discovered after an attempt to hide his body in a shallow grave proved unsuccessfull.[1][2]"
